Hello! Welcome to All Things Love, a blog that I decided to create in order to pour more love into our universe. As I reflect on the world… all I see is pain. But for my personal world, I have no major requests, just to be at peace… happiness in marriage, calmness in my day to day life and routine.
I recall years ago saying the only goal I had was “to be the best mom on the block.” As I think back, it probably was roughly 10 years ago. It was when major changes took place in my life. I made the choice to leave corporate America and turn my supplemental income into a full-time business. My son was starting his adolescence years. My husband and I were working on the next decade of our marriage together. All I dreamed of was to be the best mom on the block. I believe I succeeded! After our son graduated from high school in 2016 he confirmed that he had the best mom “in the world.” Now for me, that’s the only confirmation I’ll ever need in this lifetime. It was that moment I realized I poured unconditional love into my son and he knew how it felt to be loved.
May 2018 our only child, our son died during an act of senseless violence. So now our lives will be changed forever. We have to start a new normal. We are thankful for our relationship of love, the heart filled relationship we had with our son and the strength and understanding God is Blessing us with; however, this will be a never-ending journey.
All Things Love was created in memory of our son.
This world has pain but the memorable moments of LOVE will last a lifetime.
