Weekend plans are always perfect because it gives us something to look forward to at the end of our week. Whether you plan ahead or on a sporadic Thursday afternoon, weekend plans motivate and energize you for the next week. Weekends are designed to be a time of leisure. Your free time should also be used to enhance and improve the quality of your relationship.

 Special reminder:

These plans do not have to cost hundreds of dollars or you do not have to stay in 5 Star Hotels. It’s the simple things we do in our relationship to make it memorable.

~Road trip to Nowhere

The best way to execute the perfect road trip to nowhere is to not plan ahead and wake up early. Start your journey early on a Saturday morning and GO.

Make sure you have a full tank of gas! Travel highways that got through small towns. Check out yard sales, fruit stands, antique stores, boutiques, etc. Stop off at national landmarks, historical parks and gardens. For lunch, try a local restaurant. Take plenty of pictures!

Play road trip games along the way…

License Plates: “collect” out-of-state plates. Observe all the license plates on the vehicles you pass. Keep track of the out-of-state plates you see.

Would You Rather? Take turns asking whether the others would do something or another. Feel free to make it as gross, weird, and horrible as possible.

Story Time: Pick another car on the road, don’t be a creeper, but get a one good look at the passengers. Once you’ve seen them, take turns deciding who these people are: Are they married or is that his mistress; Are they gangsters with a body in the trunk; How old are they; Where are they headed; Are they related; What are their professions etc. Create the funniest story!

~Home Getaway

The transformation from Home to an Erotic Getaway

Décor:

Have you ever seen the décor in a brothel? Well if not, Google it! That’s the ambiance we want! Sexy, romantic, seductive, and… Erotic

Use sheer curtains and fabrics to hang in the doorway and candle wall sconces in the halls and bedroom. If you have a fireplace, light it. You can even use candles. If you have furry throws and toss pillows, make a romantic scene on the floor. Use satin sheets on your bed. Sprinkle rose peddles on the floor. Take a few sexy lingerie garments and hang in unique places to give the room a sex appeal. Use silk scarves offer the table top lamps. In the bathroom, have a basket filled with bubble bath, body wash and sponges. In the kitchen, have champagne on ice. You want all the rooms you plan to have a brothel style feel. Decorate your home to create a feeling of an erotic getaway.

 Activities:

Select a few romantic movies, (Mr. and Mrs. Loving, Fire Proof, War Room) Find games to play or create your own. Make a twister game on a blanket using hearts instead of circles. For entertainment, perform. Put together a lip singing performance or dance routine. Make it creative!

Menu Plans:

Prepare a romantic meal… Lobster or Steak.

Snacks… Chocolate Covered Strawberries are perfect.

Don’t forget the aphrodisiacs!

Oysters, chocolate, avocados, honey, arugula, strawberries, cherries, whipped cream.

Include breakfast in bed for the morning after.

My Shrimp & Grits recipe is delicious.
