OUR 1st ROMANTIC MEAL circa 1997

Now that you have reached the 20th recipe of

Marriage Matters: Dinner for Two I hope that you are intrigued by how my cooking style has elevated over the past 20 years. The 20th recipe is what I like to call our classic meal. This meal was prepared often in the beginning of our marriage. It was often eaten on Sundays, birthdays even Valentines Day. As I reflect now to those early days, life in the kitchen was so simple. It didn’t come with needing a garlic press, meat thermometer or a whisk. I only needed a few groceries (less than $20 worth) and pots & pans. So remember that in all fairness it does not take extravagant meals to execute a romantic dinner for two. My mother always said, “The one ingredient needed in any dish is LOVE.”
