Hey y’all!

It’s been over a year since I’ve created a personal post… where has the time gone?

So many things have been going on at Bradley’s Homestead. I am still working on ways to find my niche in our homesteading era. Since my December 2023 post I have learned so much! I guess I should first start with reflecting on last year. 2024 was my year of philanthropy! I spent a great deal of my time volunteering and attempting to pour more love into this world. As my year came to a close I can honestly say that I felt satified and accomplished with my 2024 journey. My year in reflection was spent with a giving spirit, spreading unconditional love; doing the things that brought me happiness and great joy.

2025 is off to a great start with me moving forward in my purpose. This is my year of manifestation and all of my dreams and desires for Bradley’s Homestead are unfolding! So what’s new on the homestead?

  1. I started conducting craft workshops called Craft Therapy! They’re held in my she shed with a small group of women. We come together to enjoy creating a craft project, and eating a delicious lunch while healing our heart and mind through art.
  2. We started selling eggs! It was a random post that I sent to a few family and friends but it quickly grew with support from them. I now have a few regular customers that continuously support me.
  3. Since I am in the egg business, why not make it official! So we obtained our SC Egg License which means I can sell anywhere, besides just on my farm.
  4. Our livestock is growing! We added more laying hens to our flock. We added meat chickens and ducks that will be processed. We got new rabbits in hopes of breeding then processing as well.
  5. 100% of our spring garden is in full bloom! The garden is from seeds which I started in late February indoors, under a grow light. I am so thrilled about this because last spring 85% of our garden plants were my starts and the rest were store bought. A few of my plants are from my community (gardening, homesteading, farming friends). Which they practice seed starting as well so I am pleased.
  6. Since I had such a large overage of vegetable starts I decided to list them online and see if anyone was interested in purchasing. Again that too was a hit for me! Which I plan to continue selling starts expanding from vegetables to herbs and flowers as well.

So I have a few more things brewing for our homestead and it is so pleasing to my soul that I am manifesting my future.

Consider following me on social media to watch our journey continue to unfold.
