This year hubby and I decided to create a full Hallmark experience. It all started on Halloween…

“Love the giver more than the gift.”
–Brigham Young
While heading to the Coastal Carolina Fair we started chatting about my holiday blues since our son left our world. We started reflecting on past holidays when he was growing up and remembering some of our most memorable ones. Then it came to me, let me not get emotionally stressed this holiday season because of the life I no longer have but embark on this time to make new magical moments. So at that moment, we set out to create a Hallmark experience!
1st enjoyment was fair food, fair games, and fair exhibits!
By November 1st, I was well on my way to executing another wonderful holiday tradition. It’s a Mexican and Catholic holiday. Since I have Mexican American roots and was raised Catholic I am very familiar with Dia de Muertos and All Saints Day. So I felt inspired to do more this year than just put on my Dia de Muertos tee and make Mexican food for dinner. This year I decided to deliver 1 long stem red rose to a few notable graves including my son, father, brother, paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dia de Muertos is the symbolic relationship between life and death.
Though we may shun thinking about it, death is inevitable! So on this day (Nov 1) I will start to celebrate my loved ones who have passed!
OAN, I STILL MADE MEXICAN FOOD!

NEXT UP ON OUR LIST… A CORN MAZE!
First time ever and it was quite the adventure at West Farm Corn Maze.
Thanksgiving in Greenville, SC was simply beautiful. I felt like I stepped into a Hallmark movie! It felt so refreshing and just what my soul needed. Hubby and I loved, we laughed and we lived‼️
